Importing reviews

If you already collect reviews in another app, import them into PageStax from a CSV file. Nothing is written until you press Import at the end, so you can check everything first.

1. Export from your current app#

Any other CSV works too — you map its columns yourself.

2. Import into PageStax#

1. Open Reviews and press Import CSV.
2. Upload — press Choose file and pick your CSV. Judge.me, Loox and Yotpo exports are recognised automatically.
3. Source — confirm Judge.me, Loox, Yotpo or Other / custom.
4. Map columns — match each PageStax field to a column in your file. Rating, Review text and Product are required. Customer name, Date, Title, Verified purchase, Photos, Email and Store reply are optional. The First row column shows a sample so you can check the match. Anything unmapped shows Not imported.
5. Preview — see how many rows are Ready, have No product match, are Duplicates or are Unusable. For rows that don't match a product, choose Skip or Hold in Pending.
6. Import — choose how to publish them:
   • Follow my rules — use your review rules (see Collecting and moderating reviews);
   • Publish all; or
   • Hold all in Pending.
7. Press Import N reviews.

What is kept#

• The review's original date is kept.
• A review is marked verified only when its order matches an order PageStax recorded for your store. Other imported reviews come in unverified, whatever the source file says.
• Duplicates — of reviews you already have, and within the file — are detected in the preview.

PageStax only ever copies what is in your file — it never writes review content of its own.
