Plans, limits and the 14-day trial
What each PageStax plan includes, how limits work, and how billing and the free trial are handled through Shopify.
PageStax has four plans. Every plan includes all templates and sections. Billing goes through Shopify, together with your other app charges.

The 14-day free trial#
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Shopify bills you only after the trial ends. You approve the charge in Shopify, and you can change or cancel any time from your Shopify admin.
Cancelling and refunds#
Cancel any time by switching to Free or uninstalling PageStax — the subscription ends in Shopify and billing stops with it. Charges already made are generally non-refundable, but if you were charged in error or the service was unavailable, email support@pagestax.com within 30 days of the charge. Approved refunds are issued through Shopify. The details are in our refund policy.
Check your usage#
Open Settings → Plan & usage. It shows what is counted right now — Pages published, A/B tests running, Live journeys and Variants in one test — against your plan's limits, and what your plan covers. Counts are what is live at this moment, not totals over the month: unpublish a page and you have room for another.
To change plan, press Change plan in Shopify. Features your plan doesn't include show Available on [plan] with an Upgrade to [plan] button.
What happens at a limit#
Limits are checked by PageStax's server whenever you do something that would go over:
- Publishing a page beyond your page limit is refused, for example: Free plan allows 1 published page — upgrade in the app's Plan section.
- Starting a test or turning on a journey beyond your plan's limit is refused with a message naming the plan that allows it.
- If a save would leave too many tests running or journeys live, the extra ones are switched back — running tests to paused, live journeys to draft — and you are told which.
Nothing you have built is deleted when you reach a limit or change plan.
Development stores#
Shopify development stores get the Scale plan's features at no charge, so you can build and test everything before you launch.
