Sign in outside Shopify (app.pagestax.com)

You can use PageStax inside your Shopify admin, or on its own at app.pagestax.com. Both open the same app and the same store data. Working in a full browser tab gives the editor more room.

There is no separate PageStax password. You sign in with Shopify.

Sign in#

1. Go to app.pagestax.com. You see Sign in to PageStax.
2. In Store address, enter your store's .myshopify.com address. You can type just the first part (your-store), or paste the full address — PageStax works out the rest. A custom domain such as www.yourbrand.com won't work here; use the myshopify address.
3. Press Continue with Shopify.
4. Shopify confirms it's you and sends you back, signed in.

If you are already logged in to your Shopify admin, this usually takes a couple of seconds.

How long you stay signed in#

Your sign-in lasts 7 days in that browser. After that, or if PageStax was uninstalled and reinstalled in the meantime, you see the sign-in screen again — just repeat the steps above. If PageStax was uninstalled, reinstall it from the App Store first.

If sign-in doesn't finish#

When something goes wrong, PageStax brings you back to the sign-in screen with a short message, for example:

• PageStax is not installed on that store yet. — Install it from the Shopify App Store, then sign in again.
• That does not look like a Shopify store address. — Use the address ending in .myshopify.com.
• The sign-in took too long or started in another tab. — Start again from one tab, and finish within 10 minutes.
• Shopify did not grant access. — Try again and approve the permissions when Shopify asks.
