Landing pages and store pages
Publish campaign pages at their own address, either through PageStax or as a Shopify Online Store page.
Not every page is about one product. Campaign pages, product drops, collections and about pages can be published as a landing page or a store page.
Create one#
- In Pages, press Create page and choose Landing page (Campaign, drop or collection).
- Pick a template or Start blank, name it, and press Create & open in editor.
Landing pages aren't tied to one product, but any section can still be linked to a product — see Product pages and live product data.
Choose where it lives#
When you press Publish, a normal page offers three targets:
| Target | Address | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Landing page | /apps/pagestax/p/<handle> | Served by PageStax through your store's domain. Doesn't touch your theme. |
| Store page | /pages/<handle> | A real Online Store page in Shopify, shown as a full PageStax page without your theme's header and footer. |
| Replace a product page | /products/<handle> | Shows this page for the product you pick. See Product pages. |
For Landing page and Store page, set the URL handle — the last part of the address. Store page and product page targets need a connected store.
Store pages in detail#
When you publish a store page, PageStax creates (or updates) an Online Store page at that handle and makes sure your published theme has the PageStax page template. If a page with that handle already exists in your Online Store, PageStax uses it rather than creating a duplicate like about-1.
If you switch themes later, PageStax installs its template on the new theme automatically.
After you publish#
- The first view of a brand-new page can take up to a minute to appear everywhere. If you see This page could not be loaded, wait a moment and refresh.
- To change the page, edit the draft and publish again, or push live. See Publishing, push live and unpublishing.
